About Us

Teapots to Talk About was started in September 2006 to create unique teapots for unique people.  For Cheryl Smith it was about bringing together function, design and art to create something special that had the potential to motivate or inspire.

Cheryl loves reading quotes and takes great strength from them.  She wanted to use them in a creative way to give the same pleasure to other people.  People often have a teapot even if they don’t use it, but for those people who use their teapot everyday a quote to make you smile or feel positive about life can only help to get the day off to a good start.

A teapot can be decorative and functional so it seemed like an excellent way to use quotes and decoration together.  Although Teapots to Talk About also paint mugs, seasonal plates and other items teapots will always remain the focus.
